Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIK3IP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PIK3IP1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher PIK3IP1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIK3IP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SARC are the cancer types where PIK3IP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
