Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIK3CB Mutation is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PIK3CB data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PIK3CB Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIK3CB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and STAD show a favorable association.

UCEC, HNSC, and PAAD are the cancer types where PIK3CB Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
