Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIK3CB mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PIK3CB data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 11 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PIK3CB mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIK3CB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and HNSC show a favorable association.

UCEC, CCRCC, and COAD are the cancer types where PIK3CB mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
