Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIK3CA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PIK3CA data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher PIK3CA Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIK3CA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

UCS, CHOL, and SARC are the cancer types where PIK3CA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
