Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIK3C2A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 12 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PIK3C2A data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PIK3C2A Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIK3C2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
UCEC, BLCA, and ESCA are the cancer types where PIK3C2A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
