Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIGX Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PIGX data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PIGX Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIGX expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC are the cancer types where PIGX Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
