Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIGQ RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PIGQ data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher PIGQ RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIGQ expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as DLBC and PCPG show a favorable association.

DLBC, LGG, and PCPG are the cancer types where PIGQ RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
