Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIGQ Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PIGQ data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher PIGQ Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIGQ expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
STAD, LIHC, and PRAD are the cancer types where PIGQ Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
