Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIGP mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PIGP data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher PIGP mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIGP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD are the cancer types where PIGP mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
