Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIGO RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PIGO data layer compared with 10 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher PIGO RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIGO expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and UCS show a favorable association.

KIRC, UVM, and MESO are the cancer types where PIGO RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
