Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIGFP1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PIGFP1 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PIGFP1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIGFP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and LAML show a favorable association.
HNSC, PAAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where PIGFP1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
