Across TCGA cell cohorts, PIEZO1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,470 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PIEZO1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Multi-pass transmembrane protein insertion into ER membrane, Regulation of plasma membrane repair, and Assembly of actomyosin apparatus involved in cytokinesis. Each is linked with PIEZO1 in more than 12 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PIEZO1-to-partner and partner-to-PIEZO1 results are reported.
