Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIAS2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PIAS2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher PIAS2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIAS2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and UCEC show a favorable association.
SCLC, STAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where PIAS2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
