Across TCGA patient cohorts, PIAS2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 16,100 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PIAS2-associated genes across cancer lineages are SRSF3, RIOK1, and CCDC59. Each is linked with PIAS2 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PIAS2-to-partner and partner-to-PIAS2 results are reported.
