Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PI4K2A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PI4K2A data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PI4K2A mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PI4K2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LSCC show a favorable association.

HNSC, LSCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where PI4K2A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
