Across TCGA patient cohorts, PI16 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 30 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PI16-associated genes across cancer lineages are p38-MAPK_pT180_Y182, p62 Lck ligand, and ATM. Each is linked with PI16 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PI16-to-partner and partner-to-PI16 results are reported.
