Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PHLDB1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PHLDB1 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher PHLDB1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PHLDB1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and LUAD show a favorable association.
ACC, MESO, and KICH are the cancer types where PHLDB1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
