Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PHLDA3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PHLDA3 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher PHLDA3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PHLDA3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA and SARC are the cancer types where PHLDA3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
