Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PHLDA3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PHLDA3 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher PHLDA3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PHLDA3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and UCEC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, GBM, and LUAD are the cancer types where PHLDA3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
