Across TCGA patient cohorts, PHF20 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,060 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PHF20-associated genes across cancer lineages are USP1, FAM72A, and SCML2. Each is linked with PHF20 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PHF20-to-partner and partner-to-PHF20 results are reported.
