Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PHF2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PHF2 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher PHF2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PHF2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and BRCA show a favorable association.
ACC, COAD, and KIRC are the cancer types where PHF2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
