Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PHF2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PHF2 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher PHF2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PHF2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
LUSC, LUAD, and ESCA are the cancer types where PHF2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
