Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PHEX Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PHEX data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher PHEX Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PHEX expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SCLC show a favorable association.

THYM, UCEC, and BRCA are the cancer types where PHEX Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
