Across TCGA patient cohorts, PHC2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 12,880 significant associations in total. CCRCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PHC2-associated genes across cancer lineages are MEX3A, RBBP4, and TMEM39B. Each is linked with PHC2 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PHC2-to-partner and partner-to-PHC2 results are reported.
