Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PHB Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PHB data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher PHB Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PHB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SCLC, MESO, and PCPG are the cancer types where PHB Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
