Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PGM3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PGM3 data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher PGM3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PGM3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and STAD show a favorable association.
LUSC, UCEC, and STAD are the cancer types where PGM3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
