Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PGLYRP1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PGLYRP1 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PGLYRP1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PGLYRP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and BLCA show a favorable association.

HNSC, BLCA, and THYM are the cancer types where PGLYRP1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
