Across TCGA patient cohorts, PGGT1B protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 9,303 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PGGT1B-associated genes across cancer lineages are XPO1, BRMS1L, and VNN2. Each is linked with PGGT1B in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PGGT1B-to-partner and partner-to-PGGT1B results are reported.
