Across TCGA cell cohorts, PGC RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 852 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PGC-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Positive regulation of antimicrobial peptide production, Positive regulation of antimicrobial humoral response, and Mitochondrial tRNA methylation. Each is linked with PGC in more than 15 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PGC-to-partner and partner-to-PGC results are reported.
