Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PGBD2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PGBD2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher PGBD2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PGBD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
THCA, UCEC, and COAD are the cancer types where PGBD2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
