Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PGBD2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PGBD2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 10 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher PGBD2 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PGBD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and LSCC show a favorable association.

GBM, LSCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where PGBD2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
