Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PGAP6 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PGAP6 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher PGAP6 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PGAP6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD are the cancer types where PGAP6 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
