Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PGAP2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PGAP2 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher PGAP2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PGAP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and LUSC show a favorable association.
LIHC, ACC, and BLCA are the cancer types where PGAP2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
