Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PGAP1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PGAP1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PGAP1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PGAP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and PDAC show a favorable association.
UCEC, LSCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where PGAP1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
