Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PGAM4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PGAM4 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher PGAM4 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PGAM4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SKCM, UCEC, and CESC are the cancer types where PGAM4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
