Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PGAM1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PGAM1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PGAM1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PGAM1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC and SKCM are the cancer types where PGAM1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
