Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PFN1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PFN1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher PFN1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PFN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
DLBC, BLCA, and ESCA are the cancer types where PFN1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
