Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PFKM mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PFKM data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 11 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PFKM mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PFKM expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and GBM show a favorable association.

UCEC, PDAC, and HNSC are the cancer types where PFKM mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
