Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PFDN5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PFDN5 data layer compared with 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher PFDN5 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PFDN5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and PAAD show a favorable association.
BRCA, LIHC, and KICH are the cancer types where PFDN5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
