PFAS

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, PFAS mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 374 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PFAS-associated genes across cancer lineages are HSD17B4, ELP2, and NANOGNB. Each is linked with PFAS in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PFAS-to-partner and partner-to-PFAS results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, HSD17B4 grouped by PFAS-low versus PFAS-high in SKIN.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (PFAS→partner) and Y-score (partner→PFAS) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
