Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PEX3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PEX3 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher PEX3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PEX3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and GBM show a favorable association.

CCRCC, LUAD, and COAD are the cancer types where PEX3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
