Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PEX19 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PEX19 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher PEX19 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PEX19 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and UCEC show a favorable association.
PDAC, GBM, and UCEC are the cancer types where PEX19 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
