Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PEX16 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PEX16 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher PEX16 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PEX16 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA, PAAD, and COAD are the cancer types where PEX16 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
