Across TCGA patient cohorts, PEX16 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 7,152 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PEX16-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are [4Fe-4S] cluster assembly, Sertoli cell development, and Regulation of endoplasmic reticulum tubular network organization. Each is linked with PEX16 in more than 23 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PEX16-to-partner and partner-to-PEX16 results are reported.
