Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PEX14 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PEX14 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher PEX14 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PEX14 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.
CESC, COAD, and STAD are the cancer types where PEX14 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
