Across TCGA patient cohorts, PEX12 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 28 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PEX12-associated genes across cancer lineages are VHL, eEF2, and EGFR_pY1068. Each is linked with PEX12 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PEX12-to-partner and partner-to-PEX12 results are reported.
