Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PEX11A RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PEX11A data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher PEX11A RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PEX11A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and OV show a favorable association.
KIRC, HNSC, and OV are the cancer types where PEX11A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
