Across TCGA patient cohorts, PEX1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 37 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PEX1-associated genes across cancer lineages are INPP4B, EGFR_pY1068, and A-Raf_pS299. Each is linked with PEX1 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PEX1-to-partner and partner-to-PEX1 results are reported.
