PES1

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PES1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 29 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PES1 data layer compared with 7 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher PES1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PES1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ and SCLC show a favorable association.

ACC, LIHC, and HNSC are the cancer types where PES1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
