Across TCGA patient cohorts, PERP protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,137 significant associations in total. HNSC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PERP-associated genes across cancer lineages are RHOXF1, LAX1, and ANKRD36. Each is linked with PERP in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PERP-to-partner and partner-to-PERP results are reported.
